Becky Folmar and Rick Hansen have spent the last seven years and nearly 500 gigs creating and performing music together. This partnership led to the formation of Bama Sound and culminated in the release of Butterfly, an album of original music and a labor of love. No matter what style of music we play, her singular voice always shines through, and this voice springs directly from the heart of a gifted, beautiful, funny, and soulful friend. We are saddened to announce that Becky Folmar is saying so long for now to performing live with Bama Sound in order to pursue other interests. This is no goodbye, however, because music and friendship evolves, never stopping, always bringing something new just around the next corner, and her songwriting and recording will continue with the band. We wish you well, Becky, and we will see you again soon.
