Bassist Johny Moses and drummer Tony Castaldo join Bama Sound

Bassist Johny Moses has laid a solid and soulful foundation for musicians in the Central Alabama region going back over five decades. His deep experience playing in bands like Final Approach, Dr. Feel Good, and Charlie C & The Cuzamatics has rooted him stylistically in rock, pop, funk, and R&B music.

Tony Castaldo's drumming career spans nearly 40 years. After studying music at the University of South Alabama in the early 1990s, he began playing as a sideman and band member around Central and South Alabama. He's performed or recorded with Rick Hirsch (Wet Willie), Charity Bowden (The Voice finalist), Abigail Douglas, Bama Breeze, Shakedown Monkey, Butler Mill Band, Rob Holbert, Shakespeare’s Alley, and Creative Improv (among others). He is an in demand session player and has served as principal percussionist for the Prattville Pops Orchestra. He has also served as an orchestra pit player for musical theater, performing the scores for Godspell, State Fair, Grease, Annie, and other Broadway style shows. He has also run Echo7 Recording Studio since 2003.
